We're looking to fill a new senior role at a successful creative communications agency with someone special. 

As an Account Director, this person will play an intricate role in the day-to-day management of senior clients, driving project timelines and budgets. They will be strategically savvy, with a solid history of agency client service and the ability to tackle a wide scope of projects. They’ll also be a natural-born leader, able to stimulate collaborative team efforts within the agency, and have excellent and clear communication with their clients. In this line, there is a strong emphasis on presentational skills which come in handy when pitching new creative ideas, and a keen eye for detail, and a knack for prioritising tasks.

This role is heavily involved in the development and growth of the agency brand, and an initiative and drive to identify new opportunities for account growth will be highly valued. Having extensive digital marketing knowledge will be a massive boon to this role. It is desirable that this person be well-versed in contributing to digital strategies planning and solutions within the agency.

Last but not least, the role requires an individual driven by success; a true team player who enjoys seeing the results of hard work and converting new clients into long-term retained clients. This person will love a community-driven culture and be passionate about creative communications and branding, acting as a loyal advocate for the brand.

The breakdown

We are looking for an accomplished gun with:

  • Min 10+ years’ agency experience in a client service role

Proven results and experience:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships with high profile brands
  • Identifying and convert new opportunities from new and existing relationships 
  • High-level time management with the ability to manage multiple diverse projects at once
  • Management of the agency teams to ensure projects are completed to budgets and timelines
  • Keeping detailed project statuses and tracking reports on achieved achieving strategic goals and objectives
  • Writing and driving new business proposals, presentations, and initiatives 
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Leading and delegating effectively, and identify strengths within team members
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the need to achieve business goals and promote growth within existing clients
  • A natural enthusiasm for experience-based brand, design, and digital strategy
