Are you a junior-level Account Manager looking to step up and join a fast-growing, creative team? 

Do you have excellent technical skills, are career driven, and have efficient time management?

Our client is a well-known, successful advertising agency who is looking for a new Account Manager with the whole package. The new Account Manager will report directly to and support the Account Director across a few main client portfolios, whilst be being mentored in a busy advertising agency that is experiencing significant growth.

This person will be efficient, excellent with managing budget requirements and outgoing, with a focus on assisting the Account Director in building solid relationships throughout the whole creative process (outsourced creative, design team, production, internal team etc). The use of initiative and being self-motivated will be valued in this role when assisting across the smaller tasks within large projects that do not require the full attention of the Account Director. This role will be working across busy accounts so the right candidate will be willing to put in the hard yards to get the job done, even if it includes a few extra hours.  

This role would be perfect for an already established Account Manager or an experienced Account Executive looking for a step up, with 2+ years’ experience who is eager to learn and grow their career on a high profile account.  

Required Experience:

  • Min 2 + years of Account Management experience
  • Agency background is key
  • Experience managing several projects/multitasking

Required Skills:

  • Confidence in supporting the senior client services team
  • Ability to assist with client briefing sessions, and process into creative briefs
  • Assisting in the preparation of schedules and estimates
  • Management of budgets and financial reporting
  • Assisting with client briefs, delivering work on time and within budget
  • Client facing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate with others

Desired Skills:

  • Responsive to the Account Director and client requests when required, always working to find solutions
  • Career driven and confident

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education preferred

  • Personable, confident and keen for a challenge  
  • Proactive, keen to learn and develop
  • Needs to be happy to roll up their sleeves if necessary and take a flexible approach to the role
