Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for your next big career move? 

Looking for something with flexible hours or even 4 days /week? 

Our client, a successful and buzzing integrated Auckland advertising agency, is on the hunt for a SAM to work across one of their biggest corporate clients across a variety of Below The Line campaigns. 

As part of a tight-knit, family-like team, this role is responsible for bridging the gap between agency and client, liaising and building business relationships whilst managing projects through the studio to deliver outstanding creative results. Working alongside an Account Director and Account Manager, this person will be an exceptional team player, have top-notch communication skills and flawless attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be passionate about service, conversion and business growth, which will be a key driver when confidently presenting ideas and strategies to clients. They will ideally have a confident, outwardly facing persona and have plenty of strategic vision and drive for the future of their clients. You know the drill! 

Ideally, the candidate would have experience working across or with Insurance and has DM, EDM experience. 

This role has the opportunity for flexible hours or 4 days /week.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years’ account service experience 
  • Proven experience in either advertising, design or direct marketing - ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience in Direct Marketing and EDM's would be IDEAL

Required Skills:

  • Ability to run client briefing sessions and process them into creative briefs
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships with high profile brands
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple diverse projects at once
  • Provide detailed project statuses and tracking reports on achieving strategic goals and objectives
  • Draft new business proposals and assist with new business initiatives 
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Ability establishing, leading and achieving revenue targets
  • Nurturing and inspiring the development of less experienced client service personnel
  • Understanding the need to achieve business goals

Desired Skills:

  • Skilled at writing – confident writing proposal documents
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms

Required Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification is desired
