Account Manager (Digital Agency)

On behalf of our centrally based Auckland digital agency, we are seeking an engaging and impactful Senior Account Manager to lead client service and drive growth for a key automotive client. This agency has a diverse team of 20 staff, across the full spectrum of marketing automation, digital media, search and analytics, design and creative.

You may be a proven agency account manager at a senior level, with digital marketing expertise and a passion and knowledge of the automotive industry. Or, you’ll be leading digital marketing and automation campaigns, be strong at planning, and budgeting and are an excellent communicator.

The breakdown

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with: 

• 6+ years of agency and/or client-side experience in digital / automation
• B2B and B2C campaign experience preferred
• Knowledge of the automotive industry – agency or client-side
• Proven client servicing skills with agency commercial acumen
• A positive attitude, love of what you do, energetic yet calm under pressure
• A natural with people - building great working relationships
• Add strategic value in client interactions and see business opportunity
• Professional with a sprinkling of fun

Proven results and experience in… 

• Experience forging long-standing, solid relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Leading client briefing sessions and processing them into creative briefs
• Ownership of client projects, delivering work on time and within budget
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A great listener and intelligent approach to
• Highly organised, able to multi-task and proactive
• Agency commercial acumen and ability to work with agency tools such as Pegasus

The reward 

• Up to $110,000 + Kiwisaver depending on experience.
