My client, an Auckland based agency are looking for a Digital Project Manager superstar to jump on board and lead a long-term project from start to finish.  

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing and delivering projects digital lifecycles within specific quality, time and budget requirements. Digital projects will need to be lead and delivered from initial concept to final delivery and go-live. 

They'll need to be a natural leader with exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, people and clients at once. 

This contract is open-ended at this stage and for the right candidate, this role may lead to a full-time opportunity. 

 

Required experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in a project manager or equivalent role
  • Web Development or digital agency background 

 

Required skills:

  • Ability to plan and lead digital campaigns from the initial stages through to final delivery
  • Continuous assessment of working methods and processes and making recommendations for improvement
  • Use Jira software to manage tasks and projects with developer team and stakeholders
  • Use Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid approaches
  • Able to estimate projects with the team and create project timelines
  • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
  • Reviewing project resources and providing analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with both the client and any other relevant parties
  • Knowledge of and ability to meet key Service Level Agreements
  • Regularly updating key stakeholders on project status
  • Budget management with regular stakeholder updates
  • Team leadership skill with the ability to build strong relationships with, and successfully motivate, other members of the production team, creative and account leads
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise well and multitask
  • Able to troubleshoot under pressure and resolve problems – displaying resilience and calm under extreme time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, building trust and rapport with clients and agency personnel
