eComm and Digital Specialist (6-month fixed-term contract)

On behalf of our Auckland-based client, The Pond Recruitment Agency is looking for a talented eCommerce and Digital Marketing professional with at least 4 years experience to join the marketing team of a well-known children’s fashion brand.

You’ll be self-motivated, organised, eCommerce and marketing-minded with related industry experience. You’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks and have a great eye for detail and be able to make digital and web content pop to optimise the online experience and drive sales!

Day to day this will involve leading product launches, promotions, and campaigns, working with digital agencies to manage paid social strategies, digital channel management, content development, and targeting. You’ll know your way around CMS systems, managing online content and product updates, as well as managing all email marketing activity, ensuring an innovative and best-in-class approach to EDM comms to local and global audiences.

Ultimately you’ll be responsible for delivering a seamless online buying experience for new and existing customers, knowing which levers to pull to optimise the online experience and convert sales.

We are looking for a talented marketer with:

• With 4+ years of relevant experience in digital and eComm marketing

Proven results and experience in… 

• Prepare and lead online product launches, campaigns and promotions
• Work with external agencies to set social strategy, including digital channels, content, ad formats, and targeting
• Deliver a positive brand experience and drive experience and drive conversions through optimised content
• Lead and manage online merchandising
• Set and adhere to performance KPIs
• Create a high-level campaign email marketing calendar
• Direct and drive the development of automated email marketing flows
