On behalf of our established Hamilton-based client, The Pond is looking for a proven Full-Stack Developer to join a team on a mission to make mental well-being support available to every New Zealander.

The ideal candidate will be at an intermediate or senior level, bridging the gap between the junior and lead developers, with a lean towards back-end development to complement the existing team's strengths. This is a newly created role where you’ll gain valuable insights into this innovative online tool, while also being able to focus on its development and maintenance.

The breakdown

We are looking for a Developer with:

  • 4+ years of experience in hands-on development
  • Tech stack: PHP, JavaScript, CSS, SASS, Gulp
  • Framework and libraries: MySQL, Postgres

Desirable experience for the role: 

  • Experience in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure a plus)
  • Experience working or interest in working in an agile team environment,
  • An understanding of UX, SEO and user research is highly desirable.
