Our client markets professional courses, events, webinars and its membership across Australia and New Zealand. By joining the Creative Services Studio you’ll work alongside the Creative Lead and collaboratively with the design team to implement a new brand, refresh a website and design and deliver meaningful brand assets and campaigns to help drive the business.

This well-regarded organisation empowers its internal Creative Studio to deliver the Trans-Tasman marketing campaigns, grow the membership base and deliver a well-designed user experience from website to collateral and materials. 

You’ll be a proven designer with 4+ years’ experience, probably with at least 2 years in a design/advertising agency and definitely with a portfolio that shows well-designed materials across all media. Designing for professional services / educational organisations is a bonus. This role is ideal for someone based in the greater Wellington region but could be Auckland-based for the right candidate.

The breakdown

We are looking for an accomplished designer with:

  • Min 4+ years experience in graphic and digital design, preferably some design /advertising agency experience
  • Can implement a new brand and ensure consistency across all media
  • Warm yet clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative style and gets things done with others
  • Confident in promoting concepts and fresh ideas
  • Loves and gets brand design and implementation
  • Proactive, and smart, with a great design eye and cares about the detail
  • Confident with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experienced across print and digital design – collateral, exhibits, EDMs, ads, web design, banners & more
  • End-to-end ownership of taking briefs, concept creation, artwork production (print & digital), and delivering on time and within budget
  • A proven portfolio in designing for B2B, education, and professional services  is a bonus

 The reward

  • Up to $85,000 pro-rata 12-month contract
  • Potential to extend or go full-time
  • Work from home 3 days a week, in the office 2 days
  • Ideally from the greater Wellington region, but could be Auckland-based for the right candidate

Mandatory requirements

  • Must have a relevant tertiary design qualification or experience to match
  • Due to current border restrictions, we are only able to accept applications from people entitled to work in, and currently residing in New Zealand.
