We're looking for a Senior Account Manager with a passion for cutting edge technology to step away from their book of Agency clients and join our client, a wildly creative Web3 company, to create the future of the open Metaverse! Sounds like a lot but still incredibly intrigued? This might be for you.

A tech start-up breaking down barriers with how humans interact with NFTs, crypto, gaming and AI, our client is growing by the minute and now require what they call a Partnerships Manager to nurture partnerships pipeline to ensure that this web3 company is successfully collaborating with all the right brands and companies around the world!

As Partnerships Manager, you will work an intricate role in the day-to-day management of senior clients, driving and nurturing the relationships to prospected timelines and budgets. With the support of the Partnerships Team, you  will work to secure partnerships for the brand, through nurturing key client relations. You will be strategically savvy, with a solid history of agency client service and the ability to tackle a wide scope of projects, preferably digital-centred. In this line, there is a strong emphasis for presentational skills which come in handy when pitching new creative ideas, and a keen eye for detail and a knack for effectively collaborating with others.

An initiative and drive to identify new opportunities for accounts & partnerships growth will be highly valued. Having extensive digital knowledge will be a massive boon to this role. It is desirable that this person be well-versed in brand, entertainment, tech and come from a creative/digital background or a digital agency. You’ll have a proclivity towards new and cutting-edge tech!

Last but not least, the role requires an individual driven by success; a true team player who enjoys seeing the results of hard work and converting new clients into long-term retained clients. This person will love a community-driven culture and be passionate about creative/digital communications and branding, acting as a loyal advocate for the brand. 

The breakdown

We are looking for an accomplished client-facing extraordinaire with:

  • Min 8+ years’ agency experience in a client service role
  • Bonus points if you’ve come from a digital agency or handle digital clients

Proven results and experience:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships with high profile brands
  • Identifying and convert new opportunities from new and existing relationships 
  • High level time management with the ability to manage multiple diverse projects at once
  • Management of the product and design teams to ensure projects are completed to budgets and timelines
  • Keeping detailed project statuses and tracking reports on achieved achieving strategic goals and objectives
  • Writing and driving new business proposals, presentations and initiatives, and pitching creatively
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Leading and delegating effectively, and identify strengths within team members
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of modern tech business models and/or start-ups
  • A natural enthusiasm for all things crypto, gaming, NFTs, AI, and the metaverse of course!

Mandatory requirements

  • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification (marketing, comms)
