What we're looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and emerging Recruitment Account Manager (Talent Agent if you prefer) with a minimum of 2 years experience in a client-facing, creative agency or recruitment agency role. This person may come from the creative or digital agency account management world or maybe a young candidate manager or recruitment coordinator looking to move to a more boutique operator playing in the specialist talent sectors of Creative, Digital & Marketing.

The ideal person will have kicked off their career with 2-3 years experience and education to match. They will not be a stranger to consistently high service levels, conscientious business practices, energy, style, and flair – all wrapped up in a ‘winning’ attitude.

They will have excellent planning, organisational, and client hustle skills, commercial acumen, and be able to motivate people around them but will also be hands-on and action orientated. The ability to adapt and manage workload against evolving small business priorities and coordination of multiple individual projects is vital to success in this role. 

The Position:

As a Recruitment Account Manager, you’ll be trained in recruitment and HR best practice and go on to manage a portfolio of 10 established corporate clients daily, with ongoing talent resourcing needs. This role also offers assistance across senior agent’s client books, so an ability to manage the expectations of multiple managers is key.

This is a busy, rewarding role managing the sales, recruitment, and booking of all talent (full-time, contract & freelance), participating in the acquisition and retention of new applicants, advising and managing candidate’s expectations, all while answering the short and long-term staffing needs of the client. 

Required Experience:

  • 2 years experience in client relationships, sales, recruitment, or HR
  • Strong in client service ethic 

You’ll be a natural at:

  • Helping people, giving clear advice and seeing others do well in their careers from the direction you provide.
  • Getting people on-side - developing and executing successful new and existing relationships with clients and candidates
  • Clear, creative & confident written & verbal communication - writing candidate recommendations and pitching talented candidates with flair and passion
  • Organisation and administration - confirming bookings & interviews, scripting talent briefs, advising on recruitment processes and overall administration
  • Numerical skills – excel, ability to negotiate rates/salary structures, calculate margins, and work to KPI targets
  • Interviewing and working alongside candidates to develop their career goals, while providing sound support and advice
  • Using initiative and being highly pro-active

 To succeed in this role, you’ll also have:

  • Strong interest & knowledge of the marketing, design, creative, digital, media, and production industries
  • Confidence in communicating - love to get on the phone and talk to people
  • An opinion and be happy to express it
  • Familiarity with Mac computer systems 

The Package:

  • Great base salary of $50,000 per annum + KiwiSaver (experience dependent)
  • 4.5-day work weeks, finish 1:30pm Friday
  • Book of 10 growing corporate clients
  • Commission structure after six months (paid monthly)

  • Mac Air laptop computer
