Nicole Chuah Recruitment Consultant

Are you an ambitious, intermediate UX/UI Designer who wants to work for fearless tech start-up, breaking down barriers in the complex energy industry? Keen to work in a start-up with solid financial backing, global audiences, amongst a nimble UX design team?

Our client is a start-up in the energy software sector, and they’re searching for their newest UX/UI Designer to join their design team of 5 (and growing by the year). The energy industry is on the cusp of imminent change, and this is the opportunity for a human-centered design advocate to be part of the movement.

They require an intermediate-level talent looking to step up into their first senior status role. You’ll be no stranger to creating intelligent yet simple user experiences, guided user journeys, and stunning user interfaces that surprise and delight. You could be someone from a digital agency looking to move client-side but still retain a variety of work, or someone wanting to join the worldwide change of decentralising how energy is supplied and consumed!

The day-to-day responsibilities will require you to plan and conduct end-to-end design activities from wireframing to user testing, and work collaboratively with the other designers and product engineers & managers in creating a beautiful end product and experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the development process, sharp ‘design thinking,’ understand best practices concerning UX/UI, and an innate desire and passion to grow through proactive collaboration and empathy with your fellow colleagues.

If you're passionate about the practice, excited about work variety across not just cloud-based products but services as well, and looking to be part of an industry that’s changing the energy game, APPLY TODAY!

  • Competitive salary of up to $105k per annum + KiwiSaver
  • Incredibly flexible schedule – we have a remote-first based work lifestyle, with office spaces provided in the city
  • Mentoring opportunities by thought leaders who have the same passions as you
