A little bit about me as an Integrated Graphic Designer... I'm a Kiwi who went to Massey University in Wellington, however straight after graduation in 2008 I moved to London where I lived and worked for 9 years. In the last 6 years I freelanced which I absolutely loved, so I am very comfortable with this way of working.
I have a good work ethic with a strong skill set in both print and digital design allowing me to take on most jobs. I pride myself in making sure the job is done right which is very important as a freelancer. I am personable and like to think I fit in well, my longer contracts in London at Proximity, LIDA, TMW, Nonsense London, and Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, are a testament to this.
I am self motivated with passion and initiative, have a positive outlook to work, a keen eye for design and detail and a willingness to improve my knowledge and skills wherever possible.
I'm best known for...
Being a great all-rounder within the design department
Freelance Designer / 2012 - Present
I originally set out to freelance for a year in London, 6 years later I am still freelancing. I love my job and how I am able to gain experience from the different agencies I work at. Over my time freelancing I have been very lucky to form strong relationships with agencies where I worked for them on and off for years with solid periods at a time lasting months. My luck with freelancing I think is my ability to do the job right and efficiently while fitting in well within the agency.
Freelance Designer / June - August 2017 / Nonsense London
This was a 3 month contract where I worked on two projects both print and digital work - a Microsite for AXA and a range of posters and shop display for Cancer Research UK - Stand Up 2 Cancer campaign.
Freelance Designer / Sep 2014 - May 2017 / LIDA (M&C Saatchi Group)
Over the three year period of working with LIDA I have worked there on and off forming a great relationship. I worked solidly on Boots, IKEA and O2 along with most of their other clients as well.
My biggest job there was for 7 months working on the IKEA responsive email templates which was a great job where I was able to design and work closely with the Developer and QA.
