Having been a professional writer for the past 14 years, I have extensive experience in B2B and B2C copywriting for household names such as Dr Martens, Watties, Kiwibank, Meridian Energy, Vodafone, The Warehouse, Fidelity Life and Farmers. I also have years of experience in journalism / editorial writing.
I know the value of brevity, but I’m also a storyteller that loves to sink my teeth into long copy. I’ve interviewed everyone from hungover rock stars to software company CEOs, so I am able to tailor my questions to the brief and ensure the copy hits its target audience.

* Won Badger Communications a pitch for Tax Management New Zealand with my 'Due when I say so' campaign idea.
* My Dr Martens Public Relations campaign (for WRC) saw me inviting key influencers (from Karen Walker to Jon Toogood of Shihad, tattoo artists and hard rock DJs) to customise a pair of Dr Martens. The boots toured NZ on display in stores and were later sold on TradeMe to raise money for the NZ Aids Foundation. This concept was adopted by Australia after its success here.
