With Jetstar announcing more domestic routes, Air New Zealand went on the offensive with this disruptive digital campaign.
The objective: Drown out the competition by owning the entire month of September with unbeatable NZ-wide Grabaseat deals.
The mechanic: The cooler the temperatures, the lower the fares. We used the day's official temperature recorded by MetService at 9:00am at selected destinations to determine the airfares.
The campaign: We enlisted ex-weatherman Tamati Coffey to help bring ‘Septemperature Deals’ to life as web content, social media and digital banners.
