My father was in advertising, so I spent most of my childhood in creative studios and around scamp pads. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to make a TV ad, like dad did. When I was 17 I wrote a short script for Volkswagen and paid to get it shot. I presented it to Ogilvy and they sold it to their client. That year it got silver at Cannes. I was told that I was the youngest person to have won a Lion.
