Brief: Contact is one of the largest energy, gas and broadband companies in New Zealand.
The emergence of a number of smaller and highly competitive start up’s and to combat a drastically changing market Contact realised they needed to make some significant changes to remain visible and to stay relevant. They needed a complete rebrand but not to lose the provenance and history they have within New Zealand communities.
A new logo to replace the script logo, an un-ownable and altogether unconvincing mark for a major energy company, along with a new brand system that was beautiful and highly ownable, as well as from a functional perspective - easy to use for in-house teams, partners and suppliers.
We created the Arc.
The Arc represents the energy that connects us and surrounds us. Its fluid, sweeping motion from point to point, denotes our desire to keep the connections and conversations we have with New Zealand.
The Arc is perpetually uncontrived, uncomplicated, energetic and inspiring. Its form is deliberately responsive and expressive, which speaks to our desire to sensitively weave ourselves into the fabric of New Zealander’s lives in order to make them better.
