Meet Byron

Byron has one of the most cutting edge film and post production CVs you’ll find anywhere. If you’re in the business of making video for social media, this guy NEEDS to be on your radar.

Byron recently returned to New Zealand after spending five years in London working for new age, social-first agency, That Lot Creatives. He honed his skills in 2D and 3D motion design, VFX and editing, working with household name brands like Microsoft, Spotify, Amazon Prime Video and Radio 1.

While he was in London, Byron was behind a mountain of eye-catching, mind-bending video that was specifically created for social media. These niche skills, developed on campaigns that are based primarily on social media engagement and interaction, are almost impossible to find in New Zealand.

Consider this - when he started working for That Lot, there were around 10 staff. Two years later, there were around 150. This is a huge growth area globally, with the potential for brands and agencies to really stand out from the crowd. 

But only if you have the right people with the right skills. Having someone with Byron’s experience in this space is a huge advantage for disrupters and brands with personality and pizzazz.

But that’s not all. Byron has experience in most aspects of video production, from camera operation to directing content as well. He is based in Christchurch and open to freelance or permanent opportunities.
