We’ve got all the answers when it comes to booking creative and digital professionals.

What are the rates?
Rates usually depend on two factors:

  • The duration of the booking – generally speaking, the longer the booking, the lower the rate.
  • The individual experience and skills of the candidate you want to book.

With this in mind, we’ve recruited candidates at four distinct levels (consultant, senior, intermediate and junior) and developed a multi-tier rate structure (hourly, daily and weekly) to suit all booking and project needs.

Can I contact and book candidates directly?
All bookings and general enquiries (including re-bookings) must come through our talent agents and centralised booking system.

Do I need to re-book through The Pond every time?
Yes. You'll thank us in the long run because we secure availability, set rates, track bookings and take care of weekly billings to make sure everything runs smoothly. We also find replacements if talent get sick or have an emergency. Failure to re-book talent through The Pond will result in a penalty fee. See our terms and conditions listed on your original booking form.

What if I want to offer Pond Talent a permanent position?
Call us about it. If you haven’t spoken to the talent already we will talk to them on your behalf. Most clients tend to go wrong at this stage by mismanaging expectations of salaries and packages. We often place talent in roles for up to a year, but in the event that Pond talent do go full-time, there will be a placement fee.

Who will invoice me?
The Pond invoices clients for work done on a weekly basis. This makes tracking the talent’s time against projects easier to manage. We then establish payment expectations with them so you don’t have to.

What are your payment terms?
Clients are obliged to pay The Pond according to the agreed payment schedule, or if no schedule is agreed, within 14 days of receipt of invoice. For projects lasting longer than one week, invoices will be sent at the end of every working week in arrears.
