On behalf of our client, a leading nationwide brand, The Pond is seeking a proven CRM digital marketer who will report to the Head of Marketing as the CRM Marketing Manager.

The role has one direct report and is responsible for the development and delivery of CRM and data-driven strategies. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, where the candidate needs to manage the CRM campaign calendar and have extensive database knowledge with excellent reporting and analytics skills. You’ll be using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Data Warehouse to assist in driving personalised and segmented customer lifecycle communications to increase customer engagement, retention and revenue.

Your career to date will include providing database analysis and data management services within a large data-driven enterprise. You’ll be experienced in analytics and reporting using a range of different business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau. 

You’ll be all confident with customer databases and/or complex data sets, including segmentation, clustering, and predictive modelling. Optimising campaign activity is second nature to you, and you’re confident presenting post-campaign reporting and always looking for the edge to improve marketing effectiveness. You’re a team player and have strong commercial acumen.

The breakdown - we’re looking for: 

  • A proven performer with 8-10+ years of experience in CRM Marketing or Data Analytics roles within large data-driven enterprises.
  • Demonstrated experience using CRM and/or marketing automation platforms and analytical tools and a functional understanding of HTML.
  • CRM campaign management, reporting, leadership and presentation.
  • Demonstrated experience using CRM and/or marketing automation platforms is essential and experience in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Click Dimensions for multi-channel campaigns is a bonus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-performance team, driving/contributing to strategic direction, focused on process excellence and results/outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including confidence and experience in copywriting.

We are looking for a proven digital marketer with:

  • 8+ years of CRM / digital marketing experience, ideally with large data sets.
  • B2B and B2C marketing with an empathetic eye for the different customer groups.
  • Excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail and strong project management.
  • An action-oriented and responsive marketer, who is open-minded and solutions-oriented.
  • Genuine warmth and focus as a communicator and relationship builder. 

Key responsibilities:

  • CRM Strategy – data-driven strategies to engage, retain and upsell to a nuanced and segmented database.
  • CRM Marketing Campaigns & Stakeholder Relationships.
  • Delivery of the data-driven strategy roadmap in conjunction with CRM Email Specialist & Data Insights.
  • Maintaining brand tone of voice and copy management through all email campaigns.
  • Marketing Effectiveness & Analysis - campaign monitoring against agreed metrics.
  • Management of the agency and data requirements.
  • Management of the email specialist and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
