On behalf of our Auckland based client, The Pond Recruitment is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our clients growing business. The purpose of this role is to enhance the digital brand presence and execute the digital marketing strategy across social media, digital advertising, and online platforms.

This is a newly created role working within the marketing and creative team, who are all passionate about elevating the brand and business to new heights and delivering progressive and contemporary content across digital marketing channels. You’ll need to be a skilled data-driven digital marketer with strong analytical skills — from optimising Meta ads and building automated EDM workflows to tracking and improving campaign performance for measurable results.

The breakdown

We are looking for a digital marketer with:

  • Premium Brand Experience: This role will suit someone who appreciates marketing premium content for design-led brands.

  • Expertise in Paid Digital Marketing.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Lead performance-driven digital strategy across all channels (website, social, EDMs, paid media, display) in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.

  • Plan, execute and optimise targeted paid digital campaigns with a focus on ROI, engagement, and brand growth.

  • Track, measure, and report on campaign KPIs (CPC, CTR, CPR, ROAS) using platforms including Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.

  • Use data-led insights to refine digital content, targeting, creative, and channel strategy.

  • Identify new digital opportunities and emerging tools to enhance efficiency, visibility, and performance.

  • Manage the build, audience targeting, scheduling, and optimisation of EDMs using email marketing software.

  • Maintain and update the company website with attention to UX, SEO, and conversion optimisation.

  • Create, refine and maintain social media systems and posting schedules for peak performance across all platforms.

  • Drive content performance through best practice in SEO, social, and content marketing, ensuring brand tone and aesthetic are maintained.

  • Stay across digital trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to proactively suggest improvements.

  • Support the marketing team with digital-first content ideas, visual storytelling, and campaign execution – assisting with photo/video creation alongside photographer/videographer and creative team when needed.

  • Contribute to digital ad sales strategies and support catalogue advertising performance through insights and reporting
