On behalf of our Auckland based client, The Pond Recruitment is looking for a talented Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join our clients unique business. The purpose of this role is to enhance the digital brand presence and execute the digital marketing strategy across social media, digital advertising, and online platforms.

This is a newly created role working directly with the marketing and creative team, who are passionate about elevating the brand and business to new heights and delivering progressive and contemporary content across digital marketing channels. You’ll need to be a skilled data-driven digital marketer, with a content production component. Strong analytical skills are essential — from optimising Meta ads and building automated EDM workflows to tracking and improving campaign performance.

The breakdown

We are looking for a marketer with:

  • Premium Brand Experience: This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual with proven experience in quality content and digital marketing for premium, design-led brands.

  • Expertise in Paid Digital Marketing & Content Creation.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Campaign Delivery: Collaborate with wider marketing team for delivery of integrated digital campaigns - website content, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.

  • Paid Media: Plan, execute, and manage paid digital campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads, leveraging audience targeting, marketing funnels, and analytics to optimise performance.

  • Social Media: Take ownership of social media presence, managing content strategy, post scheduling, and community engagement across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

  • Email Marketing: Create and manage EDMs using beautiful drag-and-drop templates. Own the end-to-end process — from creation to internal approvals, to scheduling and sending. Work in the back-end of the EDM platform to build automations, streamline workflows, and segment audiences effectively.

  • Content Management & Creation: Develop creative and content for video (UGC), imagery, and copy. Collaborate with the Graphic Designer in the production of digital marketing assets.

  • Website Management: Ensure the website is visually compelling, up-to-date, and user-friendly, collaborating with internal teams to enhance functionality and user experience.
