On behalf of our client, an Auckland-based tech company, The Pond Recruitment Agency is looking for a Head of Digital Performance to help drive success across their performance channels, optimising and enhancing B2C and B2C acquisition and engagement.

Reporting to the GM, and working alongside a team of specialists you will be working to plan, implement, and manage the performance strategies across a range of channels to support the overarching marketing and advertising strategies for this tech company's client base.

You will be responsible for traffic and demand generation, growing both B2B & B2C efforts, supporting all marketing campaigns with a performance lens. You will also be responsible for optimising the success of our client performance campaigns (B2B2C), generating results and ROI.

You’ll be comfortable with your hands on the tools whilst also directing others. But also willing to take a step back and think strategically, proactively identifying opportunities for future success.

The Breakdown  

We are looking for an experienced professional with…

  • Min 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with an emphasis on paid performance
  • Proven experience in delivering performance strategies that deliver tangible revenue results

Some key responsibilities are…

  • Own and champion all things performance marketing for the team
  • Develop and deliver performance marketing strategies across all paid digital channels
  • Building campaigns for global audiences, understanding the subtle market nuances
  • Own campaign budgeting, tracking, and reporting on how well you are reaching goals and objectives
  • Review, test, and optimise digital customer sales journey, from acquisition to conversion
  • Experienced across Meta, Google, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube and more
  • Consulting with clients to understand their business and translate that into a strategy that will achieve their objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to balance awareness with an emphasis on educating and persuading customers, while genuinely addressing pain points and needs
