What type of junior we looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic, professional and ambitious recruitment coordinator with a minimum of 1 years of work experience in a client or customer-facing role.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, proactive and a superstar when it comes to written communication and organisation. They’ll be delivering consistently high service, following clear processes and bring their own personality, energy, fun and flair to the role daily. We collaborate on recruitment projects so being a great listener and having a strong and confident voice both around the table and in your daily conversations with clients and candidates is essential.

This role requires adapting and managing workloads against evolving small business priorities, and coordination support of multiple client recruitment projects. 

This role is a newly created junior position working alongside a senior recruitment consultant, who will offer daily mentoring, training and full guidance in the role. In this role you will visit clients weekly and sit in live interviews daily.

Some key responsibilities are…

  • Writing: clear candidate recommendations and pitching talented candidates with flair and passion.
  • Organisation: confirming bookings and interviews, scripting talent briefs, advising on recruitment processes and overall administration
  • Numerical skills: excel, calculate margins, and work to KPI targets
  • Confident verbal communicator: Interviewing and working alongside candidates to clarify their career goals, and guide them through their career options.
  • Making client and candidate phone calls.
  • Supporting your designated senior recruitment consultant in all daily administration across your client book.
  • Administration: Writing, preparing proposals, data entry and invoicing

Essential skills

  • A genuine interest in recruitment
  • A great collaborator and communicator
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Very familiar with Mac computer systems
  • Skilled in Xcel, Word, Google Docs, and Keynote a bonus
  • Enjoy getting on the phone and holding a conversation
  • Confident in expressing an opinion or point of view
  • Natural business acumen and a knowledge of the marketing, creative, and digital industries
  • Curious with a desire to grow your career as a successful recruiter

  • 5-day work weeks, finish 1:30pm Friday
