On behalf of our Auckland-based client, an established digital marketplace, The Pond Recruitment Agency is looking for a talented and passionate Social Media professional to join their high-performing Marketing team. 

You’ll be responsible for the daily management of all organic social media initiatives across, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will curate beautiful content, plan and schedule social posts, engage with the community through comments and messages, and utilise tools to track and analyse performance. You’ll also work and collaborate with the wider marketing and creative teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience with the aim of engaging customers at every stage of their buying journey.

You could be sitting digital agency-side right now, and totally over the lack of creative ownership and churning out fluff pieces that don’t generate real engagement, results, or cut though. The breakdown  

We are looking for a Marketer who has…

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant social marketing role
• Social Media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.) & community management experience
• Either in-house or agency marketing experience welcome
• Understands the strategic power of organic social media marketing

Some key responsibilities are:

• Daily management of all Social Media channels
• Ownership of all organic social campaigns - reporting & analysis, and hitting digital KPIs
• Liaise with the team to create and coordinate beautiful, relevant and engaging content
• Monitoring audience and driving traffic to the website via social media platforms
• Creating, writing, and editing copy for social media posts, spearheading customer engagement
• Ability to bring ideas to the table around content creation & campaigns
• Monitoring and liaising with influencers, brand ambassadors and agencies
• Customer champion within the business i.e., constantly engaging with customers on all digital platforms and various social media channels
