Meet Gemma. An intermediate Graphic and Digital Designer with a budding portfolio of brilliant work, and a deep desire to make a real difference to your brand and business.

Gemma brings a crisp six years of experience in design, including four years working with Bauer Media, formerly New Zealand’s biggest magazine publisher, where she worked on a range of New Zealand’s best print titles, bringing beauty to the page with every issue. A gifted Art Director, Gemma can style and direct photography or illustrations with ease.

Outstanding on the tools, the Adobe Suite keeps no secrets from this talented designer. She brings an exceptional eye for detail, which is critical for fashion and beauty, and has the portfolio to prove it. Her last role at Bauer saw her shoulder-tapped to work on the premium titles Simply You and Fashion Quarterly, developing her ability to meet demanding deadlines, and design to the highest standards inside prescribed guidelines.

From mood boards to mock-ups, design to delivery, Gemma is a super-highly motivated young designer who is always looking to improve. She brings a mix of skills that others don't — if you’re looking for something special, Gemma offers expertise in typography, illustration, and even hand lettering and calligraphy, almost a lost art in today’s digital world.

Gemma is great in a team, working collaboratively and creatively with others to help them achieve your goals. She’s worked on websites, visual identities, specialist print, and graphic design for signage, social and content. If you’re shooting photography, Gemma can manage everything from creative possibility to props.

Her work ethic, passion, and focused commitment saw her win Bauer’s award for “Person Willing to Go Beyond their Job Description.” Never underestimate the value of desire - Gemma brings an overwhelming passion for perfection, and a continual willingness to grow.
