Bio

Meet Lucy. 

Lucy is one of The Pond's new freelance Illustrators that we have on our books. Lucy has a strong illustration portfolio, and a keen eye for composition and layout, especially across magazines and new products - from brand to product visual appearance.

Lucy's 10 years of experience is from the UK where she gained her BA Honors in Illustration and Art and Design Diploma.

Lucy is a master when it comes to softwares such as, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Fresco, and InDesign.

Lucy worked at Tonic Studios,  where she would illustrate and design products for the card crafting industry. Following on from that she then worked at Ling Design for the brand Talking Pictures where she would take designs for greeting cards and wrapping paper from start to completion.

Lucy then had three years with Kennedy Publishing taking 3 children's magazines through licensing approval and then onto print. On top of this, Lucy was also one of the designers, designing magazine bags, gift packaging, social media posts, and adverts.

She then had 18 months with Portico, and designed products, including for Boots - designing a product range from scratch she also applied detailed patterns from a favorite artist across a wide range of products for the V & A museum.
