About Project
Backyard BK gives the chance for Kiwis to host their very own flame-grilled Burger King BBQ in their own back yard. Kiwis supply the flames and BK supplies the complete ingredients to make 16 Whoppers.
Plus they will receive their own customized cooking utensils, hat, apron, matches and even a light up Burger King road sign. Everything a person needs to turn their home into the Home of the Whopper.
This activation has been implemented across TV, digital, in-store and a social campaign to engage fans to apply through Facebook and a unique BK website.
