I’m Dot, an experienced graphic designer and art director who knows how to bring pages to life.
At Sydney based publisher McHugh Media, I managed visual direction including the all-important cover designs of MiNDFOOD’s four magazine titles. That’s 26 magazines a year, and I was there over six years!
So it’s far to say, designing for discerning audience to tight deadlines comes naturally to me.
With a decade of design experience across publishing, technology, fashion and food I have proven skills in producing a high standard of work, at pace.
I have been responsible for developing visual identities, creating content published globally, and full company redesigns in a career across Auckland, Sydney and London.
During a highly-productive OE, I redesigned and produced the monthly magazine for global omni-channel platform DataCenter Dynamics. I was also responsible for designing eBooks for corporate clients.
Creating the entire visual identity of new publication - InSeason magazine - is my most recent output, including all 144 pages of the magazine as well as the digital, OOH and social media assets. I also flexed my skills as a creative director for a fabrics and textiles shoot featured in the Autumn edition of Style Magazine 2022.
But eBooks and magazines are just the beginning… I’ve done event design and more marketing collateral than I can mention!
From study in Canada to rewarding roles in Sydney and London, I have developed a global design perspective.
